Hello brothers and sisters, we made it through the election/political mail…. and now Christmas is hitting us. USPS and the President of the National Union teamed up to play Grinch putting a HUGE lump of coal in all of our stockings in the form of the tentative agreement. 🙁
Please vote no on the TA when it comes out. There seems to be many members that have moved, and never updated their address with NALC Branch 231. Please remind all of our sisters and brothers to update their address if they have moved since joining the union. We need to make sure they get their chance to vote No!!!!!

Recently, Build a Fighting NALC held a nationwide Zoom meeting on a Sunday. Around 718 people logged into the Zoom meeting. Check out https://www.fightingnalc.com/ Let that sink in…. why do we even need a movement that stands up for the rank and file!
There is also https://concernedlettercarriers.com/ and https://caref4prez.org/ both have great individuals that currently are planning to run for the presidency of the NALC come 2026. I love both of these brothers.
Here in Fresno, we have management and management types trying to turn carrier against carrier by having their favorites writes statements against our own brothers or sisters. Do not ever do this, if management asks you to do anything put in for steward time.
At Hughes we continue to have the bullying of our fellow sisters and brothers. You must ask for steward time, and call NALC Branch 231 at 559-449-8058 to ensure a grievance is filed. Your steward should enforce your rights under the JCAM and ELM at every opportunity. I can’t stress this enough!!!! NALC Branch 231 is dealing with Captain Sparky and Captain Blinky, but we can always add to the list of bullies and abusers. You must ask for steward time, and call NALC Branch 231.
