I know, as I have heard it first hand that some/many are thinking about dropping the union, but that is what the establishment wants at this point. The only way the establishment can avoid the CLC, James Henry, Corey Walton, and the rest of the team is to get the voting members to leave the NALC so they will be excluded from the democratic process in 2026. Don’t fall for the tricks the establishment is trying to play.

You must remain a member and in 2026 vote for reforming the NALC. As EVP Corey Walton has promised to investigate abusive management by sending in teams under Article 17. This will prevent local presidents that side against the rank and file from interfering with holding management accountable.

I have informed the CLC/Corey of some of the abuses going on here in Frenso. You should also do the same. Here is his email address so that you can inform him of what you personally have witnessed in regards to the abuses from management here in Fresno. corey@fromatoarbitration.com I would/have used the subject line “Fresno CA NALC Branch 231“, but you can use whatever you feel will be the most effective. The goal is for the EVP to send national steward teams into Fresno. This way we get JSOVB grievances filed and if necessary taken to arbitration. This is our only hope to get these abusive managers and supervisors to show us in the rank and file the respect we deserve.

Here is a good explanation of Article 8. In the Fresno installation Article 8 is basically violated daily. Listen to this podcast so you are educated with the basics of Article 8, so you know to not only request steward time, but also you should let the ODL carriers of your zone know, so they know there was a violation of Article 8. This way the ODL carries can ensure that a grievance is filed, this way they can get the moneys they deserve and are owed.
