I am taking this time to announce that I am running for the Treasure/Secretary position for NALC Branch 231.
We in the rank and file that oppose the “kings” in the branch need your votes. All we have to do is look at is NALC Branch 2502 to see the extent that the “kings” will go to to remain in power, and punish us the due paying members.

The above links demonstrate, as does this blog. The extent that those in the the rank and file that have your best interest at heart will go, but you, the rank and file need to know that without you, the boot licking establishment will continue to side with management and is against you. Only through you, and your vote for change, will we have positive change happen in NALC Branch 231.
This is why it is so so so so important that we as due paying members vote for the Concerned Letter Carriers (CLC). When in Boston, I met with at least four of the members in the leadership of the CLC, additionally I routinely send the CLC emails of the shit going on in Fresno. I can only do so much though. The establishment is playing the game of attrition, hoping to out last us the due paying members.
With the most recent contract, that is clearly anti-carrier. We can obviously see who the establishment is for, and clearly who they are against. Sure….. as in the case of NALC Branch 2502 their current executive board speaks of things that are “pro” due paying members, yet their actions clearly demonstrate the complete opposite.
Something we the due paying members can relate to. Until you, show up to our meetings, overriding the votes of the executive board members, that in some cases have not carried a single letter in 10+ years. That feel they are entitled to spend your hard earned(paid) dues how ever the establishment wishes. Will change happen? Sure, on this blog, I speak the undeniable truth. I do in the meetings as well, that happen to be the second Tuesday of most months. That is not enough, because management continues to win, and votes down the motions, and bylaw changes that I propose when they clearly are for the betterment of you, the due paying members.
I hope that you vote for me as your Treasurer/Secretary, as I am the only one that is running at this point. I am most defiantly the only one that will never side with management against you the due paying members.
