This title says it all. Allegedly, this is what was told to at least 1 NALC Branch 231 due paying member by a management type. If this, or anything even remotely close to it was truly said, then we need statements, names, and witnesses, but most of all we need you to ask for steward time. This grievance can immediately be filed at Formal as it is a clear violation of Article 2, 14, and 19. It is also a clear M-1242 JSOVB violation. It is also a violation of the National Labor Relation Act unfair labor practices.
You also need to start calling any, and all elected officials to report the abuse your sisters and brothers are facing daily. The abusiveness use to be isolated to the workroom floor, but for the past year, or so management types have been moving this type of behavior to the streets to avoid having witnesses. When you are being abused by a management type on the street try to avoid it until you are in the vicinity of a ring doorbell, that way there is video and audio proof. If management catches you at your vehicle notate any cameras in the area that may have video of managements abusive behavior. As some of these management types are so full of rage they wave their hands and arms in the air. While we won’t know what was said, the video will clearly pick up the abusive behavior of the management type.
Fill out PS Form 1767, give it to any steward even if you don’t sign it. We will make sure that everyone who needs to see the PS Form 1767 will see it. Most of us stewards have a lot of email addresses and/or phone numbers that we can include at the very least district level when turning in the PS Form 1767 through the proper channels. Because we all know the Fresno Installation in the past has not properly handled PS Form 1767 when the management type should have given a copy to district safety. Make a copy for your elected official too.
I found both of these report forms below online at different NALC Branch websites. Print out whichever format that you like, and keep a stack in the drawer of the case, so you can grab one anytime a management type is abusive to you, a brother, or a sister at your station. These too will start being elevated to the proper people if you are ok with it. Give a copy to your elected official while giving them the PS Form 1767 too.

If your station is like Hughes station, your station’s management did not have the above Mandatory Stand-Up Talk February 1, 2024. I even put it in writing that I was requesting a copy of this, and still have not received the copy that Hughes management is required to provide me. So, if/when you are tired of the abusive toxic work environment at your station, you can always call 1-877-521-4272.

Here in Fresno, management types seem to like to complain that some stewards are being “difficult”. To this I say we are the least “difficult” bunch around, if you treat the City Letter Carrier humanely.
