NALC Special Meeting Under Article 3

Michael, May 14, 2025May 14, 2025

We have to try something…..even if it will be ignored by the President who is very prideful and paranoid.

Special Convention Article 3 Here is everything you need to know. Of course the president will not comply with any vote he doesn’t agree with, and that is where the National Labor Relations Board will come into play, as any union officer can and will be held accountable by the National Labor Relations Board.

Another must listen to episode regarding our union. Remember you the rank and file are the supreme body, and only through your apathy can our leaders abuse you. The above Article 3 meeting is a perfect example and a step in the process. I hear a lot of people say they are going to leave the union, then the establishment has won 2 fold. 1. They will have free rein. 2. You will still be subject to their abuse without the ability to vote.

NALC Constitutional Crisis we tried to fix this in Boston, but failed. Many elected NBA officers were threatening and harassing the branch presidents to make sure their members toed the establishments line. The first way to start to fix this is for the rank and file to show up to the branch meetings.

CCA Corner with the next NALC President James Henry Going to the CCA Corner is a must not only for the CCA but the rank and file. The information is invaluable, and if during the recent Hughes route count if the carriers would have followed all the advice given in previous episodes we would be +1 auxiliary route instead of the current -1 route. To this day even after losing a route in zone 5 every day I witness carriers starting work as early as 7:30am and working through their breaks at Hughes station, and I know the same thing is happening at Cedar. Management wins when carriers refuse to be educated.
